Understanding the New Medal System
In our continuous effort to enhance the gaming experience and encourage diverse gameplay, we are excited to announce an update to our medal system.
This new approach is designed to reward students for their unique efforts and discourage the repetitive playing of the same game and difficulty level.
With over 400 games available, we believe that this change will motivate students to explore a wider range of learning opportunities.
Unique Medals Only
Under the updated system, each student's medal tally will now exclusively reflect non-duplicate medals. Each of our games awards three distinct medals: bronze, silver, and gold.
Therefore, if a student plays the same game multiple times at the same difficulty level, only their first medal will count towards their total tally.
This structure not only fosters a competitive spirit among students but also encourages them to engage with different games and challenges.
XP Multiplier for Enhanced Growth
In addition to the unique medal system, we are introducing an XP multiplier that significantly enhances the growth of students' avatars, especially the beloved llama.
By diversifying gameplay and earning unique medals, students can accelerate their XP accumulation, promoting continuous engagement across our platform.
This feature ensures that students see the benefit of practising a range of skills, and not relying on things they have already mastered.
Roll of Honour: Reflecting Recent Achievements
While our medal tally emphasizes unique achievements, we understand the value of tracking regular effort.
Therefore, we have implemented an exception with your Roll of Honour page. This section counts all medals earned in the last seven days, including duplicates.
It provides a comprehensive view of a student's recent activities, acknowledging their time investment and dedicated gameplay.
Progress Tracking and Global Ranking
To further enhance the user experience, our progress tracking includes a medal data chart that does not account for duplicates. This allows students to see their true progress and unique accolades.
In conjunction with our Medal Mountain global ranking, this system encourages healthy competition while celebrating diverse gameplay.
